Dear Edventures community,

Mid-July we were accepted into the Supercharger Ventures CohortX, an accelerator focusing on providing investment-readiness support for edtech startups. We also moved forward on our research feature by defining the concept more, and we wrapped up pre-testing and data-sampling as we being training our own 31B large language model.

If you’re just getting to know us, here’s a recap

Whether it’s your first or hundredth newsletter, I’m happy you’re reading this newsletter and that you want to follow us on our journey towards becoming the global leader in entrepreneurship support, democratising entrepreneurship education and learning for all. You’re receiving this newsletter because we’ve been in touch for the past weeks, months or maybe years, and because your interest, skills, experience and/or professional focus aligns with our mission and values.

For those who are new here, or to give you a quick recap, Edventures is an edtech and future-of-work startup based out of Sweden with a fully remote and international team. Our mission is to develop a conversational AI that provides personalised coaching and learning experiences tailored to first-time entrepreneurs, to support their business idea, needs, and challenges. Our platform also supports entrepreneurship organisations, coaches, and educators who play pivotal roles in supporting aspiring entrepreneurs.

Read on to discover this month’s latest updates and milestones. If you’re in a rush, below are the highlights you need to know about from this month.

TL;DR

  • Accepted into the Supercharger Ventures CohortX investment-readiness accelerator.
  • Started planning the research tool and transitioned to training a 31B LLM for deeper coaching context.
  • Launched design system updates across our consumer websites, including improved responsiveness and navigation.
  • Set up BIMI email authentication to improve trust signals.

๐ŸŒ Community

Across our consumer sites, including the website, connect, the blog, and help centre, we deployed several design system improvements. These updates included navigation tweaks and consolidated responsiveness across all device types. To ensure consistency, we also launched a new workflow that automatically bumps these consumer sites to the latest Design System module upon release. In parallel, we improved our internal sales agent pipeline to help with internal lead sourcing and outreach, as well as improving the pipeline for the blog agent, which now includes better stage checks to increase the precision and quality of our content generation. We also set up BIMI to provide enhanced email authentication and improve trust signals for our communications.

โš™๏ธ Product Evolution

We moved the research feature into active planning, which covers technical stack requirements, business logic, visual designs, and platform interconnectedness. We believe this feature will be valuable to help founders go deeper during ideation and launch, as well as onboarding on our platform. We also continued iterating on sample data to refine the quality of coaching outputs. Simultaneously, we transitioned our LLM development from sample data improvement to starting training the 31B model. Our ultimate goal with our own LLM is to provide more sophisticated and topic-specific coaching, to give us an edge within this space.

๐Ÿ’ฐ Funding activities

We were accepted into the Supercharger Ventures CohortX accelerator, which provides a structured path for us to refine our fundraising strategy and hopefully ensures the funding we require so we can continue building the infrastructure needed to make coaching accessible to founders everywhere.

๐Ÿ’œ Team News

No standout team announcements this month; we kept our heads down building.

๐Ÿ‘€ What’s in the Pipeline for Next Month?

  • Move from alignment to a concrete agreement with our partner in India.
  • Continue development on the research tool to deepen founder ideation support.
  • Refine LLM training and interaction models for specific, topic-based nuanced founder support.
