Dear Edventures community,
February has been a month of significant progress for Edventures, marked by the launch of the latest iteration of our MVP, the Alpha 4.0, and several signed partnerships. We’ve been focused on launching the new Alpha, updating our website, and securing more partners. While funding is still an issue, we remain focused on building a platform that empowers entrepreneurs worldwide, and are excited about the latest launch as we now will focus our energy on growing our user base.

💜 Team News
Keep calm and carry on - nothing new on this front in February. The team remains focused on tackling existing priorities.
⚙️ Product Evolution
We’re delighted to announce the launch of the Alpha 4.0, our latest iteration of the MVP! This release represents a significant step forward, and we’ve focused on making the experience more intuitive and actionable throughout. Link and onboarding information will be sent out during next week.
You’ll notice a completely new, engaging interface, alongside several key improvements:
- We’re introducing Action Plans – structured roadmaps that break your entrepreneurial journey into clear, manageable Action Points. This should help you stay focused and track progress without feeling overwhelmed.
- Our Business Model Canvas feature has also been significantly improved and integrated with Anna, allowing you to seamlessly jump between business project and chat views, as well as build, update, and ask for second opinions with the help of Anna.
- Anna now supports you in capturing and organising your thoughts during sessions through notes, making it easier for you to scribble down things without interrupting your flow.
Alongside the Alpha release, we’ve been updating our website to be simpler, more direct, and focused on Anna and our platform. A new Help Centre has been added, offering resources from onboarding to growing your business. Finally, we’ve made improvements to our RAG system, with a first version of country-specific knowledge bases now live for India and Zambia, covering everything from regulation and taxation to business entities and sector-specific information. More countries will be gradually rolled out.
🌍 Community
We’ve now signed MOUs with three trusted organisations, solidifying our commitment to a global, collaborative approach. These include the Vruksh Ecosystem Foundation in India, who empower early-stage founders in emerging economies with mentorship and resources; the Brussels Entrepreneurship Association (BEA) in Belgium, a student-led initiative at KU Leuven supporting student-entrepreneurs; and most recently, T-Hub based out of Hyderabad, India, where we’re delighted to join as a value partner, connecting with their great network of founders across all of India.
These partnerships reflect our belief that the best solutions are built together. Vruksh’s focus on impactful local solutions, BEA’s student-led drive, and T-Hub’s established network all align with Edventures’ mission. To help you understand how you can engage with these communities and leverage our platform to its fullest, we’re introducing weekly product classes every Wednesday – you can book a seat here.
💰 Funding Opportunities
We’ve been actively exploring avenues for funding to support Edventures’ growth, and February saw us apply to a handful interesting programmes. These include Muckerlab Accelerator, Berkeley Skydeck, Decelera Ventures (the world’s first decelerator, built on the notion that slowing down and reflect will give better outcomes and greater focus), and the AI for Good Innovation Factory – the leading UN-based startup pitching and acceleration platform.
We’ve had a discovery call with PLAI Accelerator (Mondadori Group) in February and have been scheduled for one with Decelera in early March.
We’re also currently awaiting decisions from NewSchools Ventures and The Workers Lab Innovation Fund, and we should be having clarity on these applications in March. The Vinnova Wallenberg Fellowship application fell through.
👀 What’s in the Pipeline for Next Month?
- Finalising details on two more partnership agreements.
- Onboard users and make sure we secure a lot of feedback and reviews, focusing on giving them the best possible onboarding and user experience.
- Following up with PLAI/Mondadori after a discovery call in February, and getting on a discovery call with Decelera.
- Awaiting decisions on funding applications, with clarity expected in March.
