April 2026 - Alpha 5.0 is live!

Designs by Edventures
Dear Edventures community,
April was defined by one milestone: the launch of Alpha 5.0, the most complete and polished version of Edventures yet. On the community side, activation has been slower than expected, but promising partnership conversations, including a major organisation in India, are pointing us toward a clearer path forward. We also said a grateful goodbye to two team members as we consolidate and focus heading into May.
If you’re just getting to know us, here’s a recap

⚙️ Product Evolution
Last week we shipped the new Alpha 5.0, the biggest step forward we’ve taken yet.
Over the past two weeks, we went heads-down on a to-do list we’d been building for a while: bugs, features, UI polish, and the kind of foundational work that quietly makes everything better. The result is Alpha 5.0 — the most complete, polished, and capable version of Edventures we’ve ever shipped.
Here’s what’s new:
- Fully responsive across every device and browser — your best thinking doesn’t always happen at a desk, and now your tools don’t have to either. Whether you’re on a laptop, tablet, or phone, the platform adapts to you.
- Smarter onboarding — one of the most common pieces of feedback we heard was “where do I even start?” The 5.0 addresses this directly. Upload a pitch deck, business plan, or rough notes during onboarding and Anna will use it to populate your Canvas, giving you a meaningful starting point instead of a blank page.
- A redesigned Anna workspace — the idea capture panel now lives right alongside your conversation, so you can capture thoughts, act on suggestions, and rework your Canvas without ever losing your flow. No more context-switching.
- In-app guided tour — a brand new tutorial walks you through the key areas of the platform from your very first session, so you spend your time making progress, not figuring out where to begin.
- Dark mode — because good work happens at all hours, and it looks great too.
- Canvas, not BMC — we’ve renamed the Business Model Canvas to simply “Canvas.” It’s a deliberate choice: our Canvas isn’t locked to a fixed framework, but built to be flexible around what first-time founders need.
- Faster and cleaner under the hood — we’ve stripped out a significant amount of legacy code, which means the 5.0 not only looks better, it loads and runs noticeably faster.
The 5.0 is a big update — it’s the first version that truly feels built with intention, shaped by the feedback we’ve received from our early community along the way.
🎁 To celebrate, we’re offering 50% off with the code ALPHA50 at checkout. On a monthly plan, the discount applies to your first six months. On an annual plan — which already gives you 12 months for the price of 10 — the 50% applies to your first payment.
We’ve put a lot into making this worth your time and investment. This offer is our way of making sure price isn’t what holds you back.
🌍 Community
Activation has been slower than we anticipated, and converting users through our signed distribution partnerships has proven harder than expected. It’s a pattern we’ve noticed and learned from. In a coaching-led product, value reveals itself over time — not in the first session, not even the second. That makes early retention a real challenge, and one we’re actively working to solve.
What this has reinforced is our belief that our strongest path forward is partnering with organisations that run structured programmes. When users are already enrolled in a journey, an accelerator, an incubator, a school programme, they come with commitment, continuity, and context, which gives our platform the consistency it needs to show what it can do.
On that front, we have encouraging news. We’ve been in positive conversations with a major organisation in India, with a potential user base of 800,000 to 1 million learners, over time. We’re still in the alignment phase, making sure a partnership makes sense for both sides and working through what it would look like in practice, but the early signals are promising. More to share as this develops.
